The Stoughton Opera House Friends Association (SOHFA) has announced its first year-end “Friends Giving” campaign. The campaign invites community members and patrons to help the Stoughton Opera House have a secure, vibrant future.
The Stoughton Opera House has always been a place full of charm, entertainment, and community spirit. From its comfy, cushioned seats and fun quirks—like Fred the bat—to amazing performances and the cozy Ghostlight Lounge, the Opera House is a welcoming space for live music. It has continually improved the facilities to provide a better experience for both performers and patrons.
Since SOHFAs founding as a non-profit in 2014, they have raised significant funds for ongoing maintenance and upgrades. Upgrades include a modern sound system, new lighting, a grand piano, seat cushions and more. The group’s mission is to sustain the Opera House as a first-class performing arts facility through financial support, community engagement, and volunteer efforts.
“The Opera House is not just a performance space—it’s a community resource,” said William Brehm, Opera House Director and SOHFA Board Member. “The “Friends Giving” campaign encourages donations of any size to support ongoing maintenance, future projects and long-term sustainability at the Opera House.”
All community members are encouraged to contribute. To learn more or make a tax-deductible donation, visit stoughtonoperahousefriends.org or contact: Christina Dollhausen, Development Coordinator: (608) 209-7727
