The Stoughton Redevelopment Authority was established by the City Council in 2007 for the purpose of identifying underperforming areas of the City and preparing plans for their revitalization.

The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Stoughton was established by the City Council in 2007 for the purpose of identifying underperforming areas of the City and preparing plans for their revitalization. The RDA recently assisted with redevelopment of the former Marathon Gas Station, and is currently involved in redevelopment of the riverfront area at South Street and the East Main Street area around the railroad tracks. The RDA is also tasked with supporting the general economic development of the city.
