Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge welcomes the public to a program on chocolate on Wednesday, February 12, at 7:00 PM. The lodge is located at 317 South Page Street in Stoughton. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Todd Barman of Stoughton Sweet Shop and Brook Johnson of Yahara Chocolate will present an evening of chocolate and sampling at Mandt Lodge! Travel around the world by sampling chocolate from countries in South America, Africa and Asia. Learn about the history of cacao from before Christopher Columbus to now. Learn the tricks of making fudge and caramel; what not to do and how to fix “Fudge fails”. Todd will also help troubleshoot your family recipes so please bring them along! The Sons of Norway Relay for Life team will also have their annual basket raffle fundraiser that night too! We have some great lutefisk baskets thanks to Bavaria Sausage Kitchen! There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed.
