Sons of Norway- Norway Trip Program Sons of Norway-Mandt Lodge invites the public to “An Evening about Northern Norway with Todd and Christy Tupper” on Wednesday, November 8, at Sons of Norway- 317 South Page Street, in Stoughton. The program will begin at 7:00 PM. The focus of the presentation will be pictures and side stories about our trip to Northern Norway in the fall of 2022. The trip started in Trondheim and went north ending at Tromso above the article circle. We will be visiting Little Norway’s rebuilt stave church, The Blood road- What it is and why it was a big push of the Germans, Narvik: The key to Swedish Iron Ore for the German Army- The first loss in battle by the German Army, The business of commercial production of Salmon, The Northern Lights, Lofoten Islands, The Article Circle, and we’ll be ending with Tromso. Mandt Lodge is handicapped accessible with a lift located on the south side of the building. There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed.
