Sons of Norway Polka Foundation Night! Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge is celebrating Oktoberfest with a night of polka music, Foundation Month raffles and activities, and some German refreshments as it celebrates Sons of Norway Foundation Month! The fun will be on Wednesday, October 12, at 7 PM at the lodge which is located at 317 South Page Street in Stoughton. Celebrate Sons of Norway Foundation Month enjoying five-time Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame inductee Mike Schneider! Mike will share information about the history of the accordion and polka music, plus takes an in-depth look at the three main polka styles during this anything-but-boring presentation. Enjoy the sounds of some of the most famous polka songs ever played along with enjoying some great German- style refreshments! Mandt Lodge will celebrate Sons of Norway Foundation Month with fun for all ages! We will have a wide variety of baskets/gift items available to purchase through basket raffles. Proceeds benefit the Sons of Norway Foundation which offers scholarships, grants, financial support for member who experience loss during natural disasters, and other programs. Bring your friends and family for a night of learning, music, food, prizes and fun! There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed. We always encourage you to bring donations for the Stoughton Food Pantry! The public is always welcome at Mandt Lodge!
