Every Thursday this summer, June thru August, at 6:00 PM. Transportation is on your own, however you’re welcome to add your name to our list and we can help assist in arranging a carpool. Reservations: Sign up at the Senior Center Front Desk the Tuesday prior to the Thursday tour. Cost: $10 per tour and FREE for Madison Trust members. Purchase tickets at the starting locations. They accept cash or check only. Consider joining the Trust if you plan to attend more than 4 tours as a membership is $40 annually and free for all walking tours. Weather: They will be there rain or shine! What to wear: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. The tours require standing and walking for up to 90 minutes. June 6 – Orton Park Meet at 1021 Spaight St. in front of Immanuel Lutheran Church at 6PM. Tour is approximately 1 ¼ hours. After the tour enjoy a buy-one-get-one -free ice cream or pint of beer at The Roman Candle Pizzeria June 13 – Machinery Row Meet at Machinery Row, 601 Williamson Street at 6PM. Tour is approximately 1 ½ hours. After the tour enjoy a complimentary pint of beer, coffee, iced tea or soda at Eldorado Grill June 20 – Maple Bluff – Cambridge Rd Meet at the corner of Lakewood Boulevard and Cambridge Road, near 98 Cambridge Rd at 6PM. Tour is approximately 1 ¼ hours. After the tour enjoy a medium drink or pastry at Manna Cafe & Bakery. June 27 – University Heights Meet at 130 N. Prospect Ave. in front of Olin House at 6 PM. Tour is approximately 1 ¼ hours. After the tour enjoy a surprise snack or drink at Regent Market Co-op, 2136 Regent St.
