Stoughton FFA Alumni Bus Trip to LaClare Farms and Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center The Stoughton FFA Alumni is sponsoring a bus tour on Saturday, March 30, 2019 to two great venues educating people about agriculture in Wisconsin. The bus will leave Stoughton at 9:00 AM & return at 7 PM. Registrations due March 22. The trip is open to the public with a discount for FFA and FFA Alumni members. LaClare Farms allows you to a one of a kind vertically integrated agricultural education tour at this family run goat farm, cheese plant, restaurant and store in Malone. The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center near Manitowoc includes the Land O'Lakes Birthing Barn, Farm Tour and the 10,000 square foot exhibit area. The exhibits address six main themes: Wisconsin – America’s Dairyland, Wisconsin’s Diverse Agriculture – From Alfalfa to Zucchini, Feeding Your Family – Field to Fork, Common Ground – Balancing Farming and the Environment, Advances in Food Production – The Cutting Edge, and Agri-“Culture” – How are YOU Connected? Costs: $30 for Stoughton FFA and FFA Alumni members and $40 for all others. The amount includes your bus ride, tour at LaClare Farm, admission to Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, two box lunches, and snacks/refreshments on bus.
