Featured Event: The Wisconsin State Rosemaling Association's Holiday Bazaar: Saturday October 26 9am - 2pm. Location: Stoughton Fire Dept. Training Room, 401 E Main St.
Friday, October 25-- Nordic Nook - 176 W. Main Street. We'll be celebrating our Anniversary Weekend with the Annual Blow-out Sweater Sale! Stop by to visit the Christmas Shop Grand Opening! 10am-5pm
- Historic Depot and Museum Open 9am-3:30pm, 532 E. Main Street. The original passenger train station built in 1913 will be open and available for tours. A museum is in the building, with original Mandt wagons on display.
- Livsreise- Norwegian Heritage Center- 277 W. Main Street. Open from 9:30-4:30. Free admission.
- We currently are hosting a unique exhibit of 26 black/white photographic enlargements entitled “Rocks and Hard Places-Through the Lens of Knud Knudson...”
- In our Hall exhibition space we also have a new short term exhibit as part of our series “Things We Love.” This month we are featuring Norwegian mangle boards. These boards, besides being used to iron linen, were also used as standard betrothal gifts.
- Woodland Studios- 195 E Main St Stoughton- Original Norwegian and Scandinavian Folk Art Artifacts from the 1600's to mid 1900's for sale. A wide variety of collectible pieces from acanthus carved to rosemaled. Local rosemaled pieces by Per Lysne, Ethel Kvalheim and others. Open Tuesday thru Saturday 10am-5pm and Mondays 12noon to 4pm

- This is a ticketed event for which a $20 per person fee will be charged. Attendance will be limited so that everyone has an enjoyable experience. For details about how to register, click here

- The Edvard Grieg Chorus of Madison will be performing at 1:00 pm in the auditorium at Livsreise.

- Stoughton High School Norwegian Dancers and Chamber Activities: Community Building Activities- 320 North Street
- 1:00 pm- Halloween Costume judging by the Dancers, ages 0-12, at the Community Building.
- 2:00 pm- The Dancers will be performing at the Community Building.
- 3:00 pm- The Dancers and Trick or Treaters will parade down to Main Street where they can continue to trick or treat at area businesses.
- Stoughton Chamber Activities:
- Downtown Trick or Treating from 3-5 PM. Stores participating in trick or treating will have a sign displayed.
- The costume contest is at 1 PM in the Community Building. Halloween Costume Contest- Open to your ages 0-12. Held in the Community Building
