Join Sons of Norway-Mandt Lodge and the Koshkonong Prairie Historical Society’s annual Day on the Prairie as they do a “Walking Tour of Historic Rockdale”. The event will be on Sunday, August 2 at 1:00 PM. Meet at the Rockdale Mill historical marker near Rockdale Bar & Grill, 222 Water St., Cambridge, for a guided walking tour of historic Rockdale led by the Chair of the Rockdale Historical Association, Richard Moen. Stops include: Rockdale Lutheran Church, Tellefson general store, Infamous beer cave, Former speak-easy and the former hotel.
If you want to eat first, some may start with an informal lunch at Rockdale Bar & Grill at noon (outdoor seating is available) or for socializing after the program is over.
