Craft Club
Adult Craft Club meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm, from February through June and from August through December. Registration is required, and opens two weeks before the program. No experience is necessary for any of the projects.
Upcoming projects and dates:
February 1: Weave It! Learn how to warp and weave a small loom while you learn a variety of tapestry weaving techniques. All materials provided.
March 1: Knot It! We are working with fiber once again in March! Come and learn how to make a macramé wall hanging step by step. All materials provided. Registration opens on 2/15.
April 5: Decorate It! Join us and make a paper mosaic on a box using scrapbook paper and modge podge. All materials provided.
April 24: Craft Club at the Senior Center will feature Decorate It! at 10:00amMay 3: Plant It! The library has Spring Fever! This month we will be planting herbs and decorating their containers to make a one of a kind herb garden to keep or give. All materials are provided.
June 7: Dye It! Shibori is the Japanese art of folding and tying fabric before dyeing it. Learn some basic folds and create one of a kind project. All materials provided.
