Located conveniently within easy driving distance of Chicago and only minutes from Madison, Stoughton is the heart of Southern Wisconsin.
As part of Circle Wisconsin's European Wisconsin Style itinerary, we can provide your clients with a fun and educational experience. One of our more popular tours, the Norwegian Heritage Tour will take your clients around historic Stoughton and to a traditional Norwegian lunch complete with informative demonstrations and displays of Norwegian crafts and culture. You can also visit the Stoughton Historical Museum filled with wonderful Norwegian displays as well as items from the past, shop our downtown with its many unique boutiques and/or visit the beautifully restored Opera House.

10am-11:30am Step On Tour
Have an expert in Stoughton's Norwegian history tell you the story of this unique community. Learn about the area's Norwegian heritage and why Stoughton is credited with the first "Coffee Break." Step on guide is available for only $2 per person.

12:30pm-1:30pm Norwegian Craft Demonstrations ($25 flat fee)
View demonstrations such as rosemaling, hardanger (Norwegian needlework) and listen to a little .
1:30pm-3:00pm Downtown Shopping
Stoughton's Main Street will take you back to another century. Historic storefronts entice you to explore the unique shops, galleries and specialty stores.
