The Syttende Mai 20 mile run starts at 7:30am at the Madison Capitol Square and finishes in Mandt Park in Stoughton on Saturday, May 14th, 2016. The timing chips start with the opening gun shot. Don't be late!
20 Mile Run Entry Fee:

Pre-registration Dealines: On-line registrations must be received by 11:59pm on May 12, 2016. Paper applications must be postmarked by May 6, 2016.
Day of Registration: 6am-7am at the corner of Main Street and MLK Blvd. in Madison.
Race Packet Pick Up: You must pick up your race packet the morning of the race. They will be available starting at 6:00 a.m. at the registration area-corner of Main St. & Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Allow sufficient time to pick up your packet. Race packets are not available prior to that morning.
Start: Madison's Capitol Square at 7:30 a.m. near the registration area: corner of Main St. & Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Water and portable toilets will be available at the start.
Race Info: Water provided at miles 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 18 and the finish. Gatorade provided at stations. Fruit and refreshments will be available at the finish line until 1 p.m. (For runners and walkers only please!) Race Timing: The run will be timed by Race Day Events, LLC using the MYLAPS BibTag timing system. Your timing tag is on the back of your bib and does not need to be returned after the race. Your bib must be properly worn for the timing mats to read your bib tag and record accurate results. Male & Female Age Groups & Awards Information:

Awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m. at Mandt Park in Stoughton. Handpainted Rosemaled plates given to top 3 in each age division. * Must be present to receive award. Awards will NOT be mailed. Results will be posted at the finish line. Complete results will also be available on our website by the Tuesday after the race.
Restrictions: Absolutely no support vehicles, animals, bicycles, baby joggers, skateboards, rollerskates, in-line skates, roller skis or other wheeled vehicles will be permitted on the race course (except course marshals). Runners receiving aid from any of the aforementioned will be subject to disqualification. You must run 2 abreast and stay on the left side of the road. Syttende Mai officials reserve the right to disqualify any participant for inappropriate action or behavior - including littering.

Free Transportation: Buses will be available for runners and walkers from Mandt Park in Stoughton to Madison starting at 5:30am. The last bus will leave Stoughton at 7:00am to accommodate the 8:00am start time for the 10 mile run. 20 mile runners will want to make sure to take an earlier shuttle to ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for the 7:30am start. Return buses from Mandt Park in Stoughton to Madison Capitol Square and Badger Bowl only - will depart beginning at 11am with the last bus departing at 1pm.
